NIGERIANS CULTURAL BELIEVE AND CONCERN

Nigerian strength and effort to make her tourism art and culture top 10 in world is incomparable.
Tourism is act of sightseeing different subject away from home,Lagos state government the governorship of Mr Akinwunmi ambode is making all efforts to make Lagos be top 10 tourism city in Africa,at least I have attended three meeting held in Lagos state secteriat Ikeja in order to gain people ideas, gathered these ideas and implement these ideas in making Lagos grows rapidly especially in tourism art and culture section.Lagos state government have concluded to build five tourists site in five different location in Lagos state.a meeting was held on the 20 of December 2016 at the neca house ikeja.what was discussed is how Lagos state will be among top 10 tourism city in Africa.not only effort but also implementation and immediate effect, reader should view my talk on how tourism art and culture can be promoted, once we jeoperdise our heritage, our pride, our culture, the truth is we are gone already, i can only say my aspertion, how i want it be, but we have different ideas and all ideas are welcome,my sujestion goes as follow.
Firstly,Education: Government should introduce art and culture as a subject in our institutions both primary, secondary and tertiary institutions.the government make there promotion a slim chance or no chance when student or civil worker fail to pass these subject.people won't regard these subjects so serious if it does have impact in them,we should make all examisite believe without our culture we have no promotion, art and culture should be the highest unit course  in our tertiary institutions.
Secondly, culture should be reviewed before a citizen can leave his/her country:All about a citizen culture should be a throw question to a traveller before he/she can be grant out of the country.I.e,A Yoruba man at American embassy should be questioned on how to cook a tipical yoruba food, ask he/she recite ijala and ese ifa's and Yoruba ewi's.for these a Yoruba that knows he/she will need to travel out of the country will take his/her culture serious.
Thirdly,Ministry of tourism art and culture should conjunct culture and entertainment together:Government should conduct a talent hunt shows all about culture for new generation indesence that worthy price will be given out to the best student that answer questions asked on cultural heritage, government should also conduct free shows were upcoming and well known indigenous artist thrills and entertain people free of charge, this encourages more indigenous artist and diversify upcoming artist from hip-hop to our indigenous music.
Fourth point:Government should create more and more publicity in order to convince people to go to museum, national theatre, and other heritage sites instead of spending big on big clubs in the same city an heritage sites are located.tourist site should be rufrubbished and packaged in an official manner.
Fifth point:Government should stop custom from seizing sculptures work from the foreigners,I was embarrassed when a British man came to Nigeria and he was deprived of going back with a sculpture art work given to him as gift by Nigeria security, let government make  limitations on what foreigners can go back with, not to the extent of not allowing them go with an art sculpture work  given to them as a gift.Let them go advertise this work for us and when next they come they come in bulk.
Sixth point:Government should create an art market, where by foreigners don't get it hard before an art work can be located,Government should create a market were foreigners go straight.it should be an identified International market.
In addition,Religion also led to set back of our heritage site, and culture.many religious leader condemns art and craft totally all because it a status, all religious leader should try understand we don't worship art work, you should only criticise those who make it their God.we don't have to criticise our tradition to the extent of developing hatred of culture in the mind of our colleague.religious leader should go back and know the difference between religion and culture.
Lastly,Government should include traditional dance and drumming in all empowerment scheme not only limited to the sharing of toasting machines, clippers, moto cycles and all empowerment tools, youth should be learnt on how to promote, and make money with there culture. It was disclosed that foreigner now come in to learn the culture we owners don't value, and if this continue,we will later be paying them to learn our culture. And it is a very tragic situation having other people teaching we culture owners our stories.
In conclusion, after reading  of these article, you are expected to comment as much as possible, let bring ideas on how our culture will be valued, our culture is our pride.Don't let forget our culture, don't let our culture light deem we can do  more and more. Thanks
